  1. Zippo US Navy Lustre Etch Emblem Satin Chrome Pocket Lighter I particularly like this Zippo because the design is etched into it instead of painted on. It’s there to stay. I like this better than the ones with a metal emblem that is I assume, epoxied on. It being a generic Navy lighter instead of one associated with a ship or squadron is appropriate for me. There are none for my squadron and I never served on a ship. The Zippo logo on the front is a plus for me, I like that.   3. I got my lighter today, etched navy ship with USN in the top right, so I haven’t fueled it up yet. In examining it I was surprised that the etching felt scratchy, not smooth as I anticipated. For some reason I assumed it would be polished down or sanded, whatever they do but it feels rough to the touch. Perhaps over time it will smooth. I was also concerned that the hinge seemed a bit loose. Not sure it should move around as much as it does but I have nothing to base this on. Time will…
